Avadyne handles the billing for UnityPoint Health. This company is terrible. Nearly every payment I've tried to make has had some sort of complication and none of the customer service reps are able to help.
Made a payment 2 business days ago. Have confirmation of payment and payment posted to bank account. Spent 30 mins on phone with no relief, besides stating they would get back to me within 1 week.
These billing middlemen are unethical, lazy and took over 9 months to resolve a simple request. Unity Point Meriter should choose a new servicer. Reps are not knowledgable at all and rush to get you off the phone. Every time there is a supervisor needing to be involved, they never are available. Bottom line is these people just don't care about patients or actually solving your issue. Just a lot of dead ends and run arounds.
The management is a joke. The training course and trainers are rude and make you feel small when you make a mistake, or even when it isn’t your mistake at all, they will still find a way to make comments towards you and make you feel as though it is. They act as though they have never nor can ever do wrong. They are very unprofessional. They talk behind your back like little high school girls.
