In 2 office visits, 6 months apart, with Dr. Huchin, I was disappointed. In my opinion, she misdiagnosed my condition. She claimed that she saw initial signs of macular degeneration and in fact prescribed Areds2 for it. I went elsewhere for a second and a third opinion. They both categorically ruled out any signs of macular degeneration and I was told by one of them to discontinue Areds2. Furthermore, Dr. Huchin seems always to be trying to show off and talks fast and way too much, throwing irrelevant technical medical terms... read more
Excellent experience! She explained what my eyes needed & gave me exact instructions for home care & follow up care. My eyes have been great since meeting her!
Dr. Huchun is one of the most thoughtful, kind, knowledgable and experienced doctors I have ever come across. I get nervous with eye-related issues and Dr. Huchun made me feel instantly at ease and taken care of. She knew immediately how to solve my issue and took the time to explain my issue with concern and expertise. She was gentle, kind and genuinely interested in making me feel comfortable and at ease. She is a gift of a Doctor and a genuinely wonderful human being.
Dr Huchun has the best bedside manner. She is so kind and patient when explaining what she is doing and what she recommends for treatment.
Dr. Ava is an exceptional ophthalmologist who genuinely cares for her patients and takes the time to listen attentively. Her thorough examinations and personalized treatment plans demonstrate her expertise and commitment to optimal eye health. However, be aware that some staff members, may not be as well-trained. Despite this, I highly recommend Dr. Ava for her outstanding care and dedication to her patients' well-being.
