I swore I wouldn't return to an AutoZone but necessarily dictated I stop. My chief complaint was there wasn't a line to help organize being waited on at the store in Salem. Lo and behold, this store had a line. And people were being helped in an orderly fashion. The attendant was taking time to be helpful with the customer in front of me but because he was working alone, the line moved slow. Eventually a second came I made my purchase. So a 4/5 stars. Self service kiosks would help in a place with labor issues.

The usual auto parts store experience; lots of sketchy vehicles needing repairs outside in the parking lot, lots of overpriced car-related merch inside. But if you need a specific part for your auto, you’ll probably come to this big box store, like it or not. This Tigard location is pretty clean and organized with wide aisles and decent lighting, and the employees are helpful, but it’s not a huge store. Does the job in a pinch. Plenty of parking though.

I called to purchase a battery and wanted to get it installed into the vehicle. I went out of my way to explain that the battery was in the back of the car. The guy on the phone said no problem bring it in. So I drive 30 minutes only to be told they don't Install batteries if they are in the trunk 🤣
