It's not hard to speak to folks when they walk in the door. It's really not hard to momentarily stop lamenting about how "this dont make no damn sense" to your coworker just long enough to recognize a customer. Without customers, you have nothing. Speaking and recognizing someone as a customer goes a long way.
I'm not one to complain much. But this was just downright incompetent customer service. I needed help identifying a wire that broke in my vehicle. Took a picture, had the hood ready to be opened in case the employee decided to maybe just check it out. But no, I was told, I have no idea and doubt anyone else would. Great! Yes, Auto Zone is awesome. They tested my battery first to insure that it wasn't the alternator and then they install it for you at no extra charge. My Chevy Silverado has 2 brackets that have to be removed to swap out batteries. He had me back on the road in less then 30 minutes. Thank you Auto Zone. The gentleman on Thursday who helped me was really nice and didn't mind installing it for me.
Horrible customer service they don't know how to look up warranty information and this is a supposed 16yr Autozone assistant manager, and I a former red shirt had to inform her on how to do it...
This store sucks. Evacuated Jacksonville for Irma and ended up having to replace exhaust system components in Defuniak Springs. Their store couldnt get it to me in time to replace before Irma hit, but supposedly this store could get it the next day. After repeatedly telling them it was a 5.4L and not a 4.6L, I was reassured that the correct part was ordered and would be there by noon the next day. NO VETERAN'S DISCOUNT - IN FACT, I WAS INFORMED VERY LOUDLY THAT THEY DID NOT GIVE VETERANS DISCOUNTS ONLY ACTIVE DUTY! LET ME SEE, I'm 90% Disabled in service to my country, EVERY AUTOZONE in Ohio, MICHIGAN, TAMPA, LAKELAND, and TEXAS I've ever dealt with gave me a 10% Discount because I'm a Disabled American Veteran but not where I chose to Retire, CRESTVIEW FL.
