I went into AutoZone and needed help looking for a part. I asked the worker at the counter for help looking up a part. The worker specifically was Ryan, the manager with braids. When he was looking up what car I had, it was not coming up. I told him what car I had again and he had began to get frustrated. I repeated my self, clarifying the part that was needed and he got angry and raised his voice at me. He said it was not showing up angrily, and even aggressively turned the screen to me. The guys in there are super nice. I'm from Kansas, and I was on a long road trip. My car started acting weird around the end of Wyoming, and the engine light kicked on right outside of Pocatello. Took it to Autozone just before they closed, which I felt super bad about. However, they didn't seem to mind at all, and they were very nice. They told me what was wrong with my car without mansplaining or attempting to sell me things I don't need (very common in Kansas haha). I came in to buy wiper fluid for my car. When I came out to fill it I accidentally locked my car keys in the car. They were laying on the seat, right where you can see them. The staff went above and beyond to help me get in and by the time we got it figured out there was 6 of us working on it. The staff this wonderful woman and a man helped me. They got electrical tape and we finally got them out with a magnet taped to a slim Jim. Thank you guys so much!
I used to love AutoZone, but it feels like management has completely gone downhill. I went in looking for an anti-theft screw for my license plate, and the young gal working didn't seem to care at all. Before she even looked, she automatically told me they didn’t have the part. Even after I found it myself and asked if they had any cheaper options, all she could say was she was "99% sure" they didn't. I ended up going over to O'Reilly, and the experience was night and day.
