I don't live in the area, and I know auto parts stores can be hit or miss. Took a chance and pulled in here. My car is older and a bit uncommon, so I wasn't sure how it was going to go. I came in feeling really upset, cold, and frustrated dealing with the rain and my windshield wipers, but Lewis (I believe that was his name) completely turned my day around. He took the time to explain the differences in the wipers and helped me choose the right ones for my car. Even more impressive, he helped replace them out in the rain and showed me how to use some of the functions in my new car. He also helped me pick the correct oil for my vehicle. I understand people make mistakes. I understand even store managers make mistakes. HOWEVER, for the store manager to fail to test a new alternator, sell it to me, then have a smug attitude about the whole situation and act wishy-washy about providing any actual restitution for the customer is completely unacceptable. If I have an account in AutoZone, a store manager should be able to leave a note to let me get the better quality alternator for the cheaper price at a different location, rather than having to return to the sam... read more
