I guess "Lifetime Warranty" on hand tools depends on which store you go to. Not all Autozones are the same. Took a broken rachet into the store for a replacement. The first person I spoke to, in a red shirt, looked at it, verified it was broken, and said sure no problem we'll get you another one. He entered the part number in the system and discovered it was discontinued. He was not sure how to proceed so he asked one of the guys in gray shirt, Steve I think is his name.
