Let me start off by saying, this is by FAR the best parts store you will find in the Pittsburgh area. I was graced by the unfortunate event of a wheel bearing failure on my 1996 ford ranger and I stopped in, crossing my fingers that they had what I would need to finish my hour and a half journey home. I had an emergency today, and Auto Zone in Jeannette saved the day, AND MY CAR! I got my dead battery jumped successfully from my Allstate road service tech. I drove the 1.5 miles to my nearest Auto Zone along rt 30 in Jeannette, PA. I asked Nick to please check the battery to find out how weak it was. As he pulled off the plastic battery cover, we discovered the battery was HOT AND SMOKING! He told me to immediately shut off the car. He went inside to get Spencer to help.
