My car was making a very loud grinding noise just after I pulled of I-95. I tried to limp it to a shopping center parking lot to make the tow-load easier. Instead, I noticed the Auto Zone and decided to pull in. As I raised my hood an associate had been outside on a break and came over to help. He quickly saw the problem and proceeded to pull out a shredded serpentine belt severely tangled in my fan blade. Several more associates came out to help as well.
