On three separate purchases I was charged sales tax on the product and core. Yet when returning the core they'd fail to refund the sales tax on it. I brought this to their attention and the answers I was given were very strange and too vague but was ultimately told that, "I have to return when the manager was in."...but he was never in, which required me to return a third separate time after each purchase with a core. I stopped at autozone in corning to check an engine warning light while driving San Francisco to Seattle. Kat and Hector diagnosed the problem and sold me a thermostat. Then they spent two hours of their own time late Sunday evening installing it for me so I could continue on my way, and absolutely refused to take anything in return! Wonderful people! Thank you both again.

Autozone is an up-and-coming auto parts store in Corning, CA. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and are eager to assist in whatever need you need met. They have quite a selection as well. I went into another local auto parts store earlier this week, seeking clamps for my throttle cable, but to no avail. I then went to Autozone and they had just the part I needed, and at a good price.
