Just a couple of words about Dance Centre...We love it because it is a small school with a small class size. Also, not only do the children learn the basics, history of dance, words of each step, good self esteem and sportsmanship, but they also learn discipline and how to become good people. It is also very family oriented studio. I would not recommend this studio. Every recital is the same, with the same girls in every other number. Girls that are just teachers dance more in the recital than students. I think that this studio does not treat their students equally. My children were very dissatisfied as I was. They came home crying after almost every class. I'm finally glad I put them some where else.
I highly recommend this dance studio verses the other studios in Wakefield. I do this because DCPA unlike other studios take their time and works with their students individually if help the extra help is needed. They are always willing to give out that extra hand to your child in making their dance experience enjoyable. Outstanding Studio My daughter has had this teacher since she was 3 1/2. She is now 10. We both have only good things to say about the teacher. She is caring and takes the time to show her students the joy that can be found in dance. My daughter looks forward tp going every week. We even continue into the summer with different dance activities. I would not send her to anyone else for instruction.
I don't know what you are talking about but I think that this is a great studio! The teacher is great and makes each of her students feel that they are very talented. Also, I find this studio a place were I can forget all of the stress of school and just DANCE! I'm not sure what this other reviwer is saying but I find the owner to be a very professional, loving, and caring person. If you are looking for a studio to go to...this is the place! My daughter has been taking dance classes at Dance Centre for almost three years now. We have witnessed nothing but good things since she started there. The teachers are very talented, well trained and give each student personal attention, which is something you cannot find in a lot of dance studios. I am surprised to hear about the negative comment on this page. I can only think it is a parent blowing something out of proportion....Highly Recommended!
