Make sure you ask for the CarFax and keep an eye out for the words "salvage title" or "total loss" as they will tell you the vehicle has been in an accident but not that it's a salvage title. And then you'll be stuck with a vehicle you can't refinance or trade at any other dealership. The sales person was nice. They sold us a wonderful car but in 5 months, when we wanted to trade it in for a bigger car, we found out that it was a salvage title, which means we cannot trade it in. We were informed about an accident but not that it was a total loss accident. And when we returned to this company because they're the only ones who will now take the trade, they offered us ANOTHER salvage title car. What are we supposed to do now? Get another salvage car? Or get a lawyer?
