They gave me the run around and tried to tell me that even though the problem with my engine should be covered under warranty, that the dipstick showed too much oil in my oil tank and so it voids the warranty there is no way that my mechanic put so much oil in that it caused an engine malfunction. Dishonest, won't return calls,lied about fixing car air bag light all wires were left unplug,had vehicle for 5 weeks and did absolutely nothing to it
I went into their service for an alignment. ****** on a discounted price + tax. When I came to pick up the vehicle they added a miscellaneous charge of about 12.8%. Never disclosed this charge before agreeing on the service. Only on the receipt at pickup. The service advisor, *******, tried to tell me that it's a state law. It's true what they say, taking your vehicle to a dealership for service is a rip-off but since I worked hard to buy it, I wanted to try to maintain in the best condition possible so I can sell it down the line. I got "60K service" done at the Newark ** dealership on 8/11/23 and was charged $662 and then when I went in for an oil change to the HAYWARD 'TEAM' ** in Hayward on 1/29/24, he looked at the mileage and said I needed "70K service" AFTER I told him that I did 60K "service" already a few months ago. The people who work here are liars and embezzlers. They fabricated a whole array of lies to cover their own wrong doings. On March 7th, 2024 I made an appointment to get an oil change done on my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL. I made a 2pm appointment just to find out that there was a 3-4 hour wait for my car to even be looked at. I called from 5pm-7pm to check on the status of my car. I took my 2018 VW Passat for 80k service, I mentioned the car waist gas on average 16mi/gal which it normally should be 29mil/gal. I took the car back and asked them to fix the problem, the shop is asking another $160 to check what causes the problem but I already paid for the service over $1400. I will never take my car to this dealership again they are not honest and I feel they are taking advantage of their customers.
I went to Gebhardt *** to have my thermostat replaced. I thought it was covered under my warranty and had to be repaired at a *** dealer. Unknown to me, they put my car up on the rack for a 'service review' they then asked me to come back and look at my front struts. The struts were dripping with grease and I was quoted $4,100 to replace them. I was skeptical so I took the car to a mechanic that I have used for years and trusted. He looked and said my struts were fine.

I went in to get a car everything went well except my cosigner didn't want to go thru with the deal I had already paid a 500 dollar down payment and wanted to get a refund for my down payment and for that I was talked to in an unwelcoming tone and I was treated as if I was dumb there was the financer **** and his director *** who made me feel as if I was in the wrong for wanting the refund back I was even told by another employee that **** is a "jerk" when it comes to things like this.
