Great service experience as usual. My Advisor, Gilbert, was very detailed in identifying items in need of service. He also insured that the lug nut torque values on my FJ Cruiser were accurately maintained during tire rotation service. As a retired Sr. Mechanical Desing Engineer (Aerospace), I truly appreciate the attention to detail that was provided.
Unpleasant experience, their service advisor keeps changing. The new advisor can't speak English clearly, and he seems to want me to buy more repairs. I have to tell him the maintenance I have already purchased, can't I just check it in the system? Or is he just pretending not to know? I just made an appointment for a general maintenance, arrived at 7:15, and got the car at 11:30. It delayed me for a whole morning and missed another appointment. It's really disappointing.
Very courteous but checkout/payment seems to involve a lot of entering of information on computer for a rather simple service
Maintenance Required message came up in the dashboard info screen, so made appointment at Irvine Toyota. Got an appointment for the same day within 2 hours. Arrived and was promptly checked in, only 1 car ahead of me. Within minutes, an advisor greeted me and started the process. At the desk, she noted that I had new tires, relevant because this service was for tire rotation, brake inspection and engine and cabin air filter replacements. Oil and filter was not yet due.
