History Established in 1996. AutoNation's roots trace back to 1996, when current Chairman H. Wayne Huizenga invested in an Atlanta-based waste management company that later became Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Republic Industries, Inc. Republic Industries would go on to acquire most of the more than 321 new vehicle franchises the Company operates today, as well as several waste management and vehicle rental companies, before changing its name on April 6, 1999 to AutoNation, Inc.

I don't think I would go back to the collison center again. The body shop did a good job with the repairs; however, you should not have to call over and over asking someone to call you back to get basic information (cost of the repairs and status of repairs being complete). Chelsea was nice when I was able to speak to her. She offered to help, but would not return phone calls and left issues unresolved.
Really great care! Got the car back as fast as possible. Chelsea was amazing about keeping us up dated and the car looks amazing! Thanks for all your help!!
