Great Repairs after an Accident A great job repairing my Veracruz after being in an accident. Not my first visit to Automotive Specialties, but I won't go anywhere else. Trustworthy, honest and a job well done. They worked closely with the insurance company and other towing company to take all the headache off my plate. More businesses should be this conscientious.

F-250 4 x 4 went out and the estimate from another shop was 1300 bucks so i went in to Automotive Specialties and had them check it out. Kind staff and fast work. Got the truck back that day and they took the time to run through the wiring harness and found a bad wire. Fixed it for 60 bucks. I guess it can go both ways...the other quote was 1300 so i expected to pay 1300 plus diagnostics fee. 1360 but instead the little extra effort saved me 1240. This place is the real deal. Not knowledgeable, professionalism lacking, ripped off I came to the shop to have them install a few parts. The serp. belt was no issue.They pointed out a larger issue that needed to be addressed. I was appreciative of that, but from there it all went wrong. They ordered the part, took apart the car and it was the wrong part. To which I had to pay for dis-assembly and assembly. Body Work and Vehicle Service I've taken 3 vehicles to Automotive Specialties and have been very please with the service and the work.One car had been in an accident and had to have multiple panels replaced. Not only did the parts fit perfectly, but the paint job was an excellent match.Our SUV had to have a new transmission and it has run perfectly since having it replaced. It wasn't a good place to do busness When i took my car in for a paint job i was told it would take 1 month.It had about 6 small rust holes and some car dings also to be fixed. I got my car back 1 day short of 10 months.Cars would come and go that came in after mine.In three weeks they striped 2/3 of the to bare metal, which sat exposed to the elements for about 4 months. Honesty in a auto repair shop I have searched high and low for a auto mechanical service center to do honest work on my 4 vehicles. I moved to Yorkville IL. and found automotive Specialties of Yorkville il. These folks give you an honest assessment of your cars problems and then fix it right the first time. The mechanics are amazing and actually use torque wrenches :)They were the ONLY repair center in in Kendal and Du-page county that was able to repair my Hyundai seat belt sensor.
Execellent work Recently I was in a fender bender. I received a competetive and professional estimate then scheduled service and brought in my 2010 Toyota for body work repair. They completed the work on time and it looks great. They kept me informed throughout the process and worked with my company accordingly.
