I made a visit today to this machine shop to have some work done on my engine block. They are some of the friendliest people in there and I think I especially like the older man that was working in the back. He really makes you feel comfortable. It took me a month to decide where I wanted to take my block .I talked to several people about automotive machine shop and they were right, it was the best place for me

Poor quality work. Cracked 2 of the U-joint plastic dust covers when installing the joint in a driveshaft I had them shorten. Damage was caused by their weld splatter which they had made no effort to clean up. When I tried to get them to fix the problem they offered to try to "warranty" the U-joint. There was nothing wrong with the U-joint and a reputable shop would have fixed their mistake rather trying to unethically take advantage of the manufacturer.
