I purchased a "open box" variac transformer from this business for $500. Within a couple of hours of returning home, I determined it would not work for my purposes and emailed the owner. He suggested I meet him the next day which I did. He did not have a comparable product to exchange except an un-grounded vintage transformer (NON-CSA approved). So I was trying to support local businesses and required a thermal PID, I can get one from Amazon for $60 but decided I don't mind spending $90 to help out small business. I left having spent $317 and full of regret, now I don't have enough for my bills.
