In my experiences, the Falcon branded wheel bearings, hubs, and steering components sold at Van Senus are absolute garbage. I had a pair of sealed hub units on a Jeep that I purchased from Van Senus. I installed them correctly and torqued the center nut to the appropriate 175 foot pounds. Within months, the hubs had loosened up and had play. Went there for a disassemble and assembly on a 350 chevy motor I had top of line forged bottom end parts they stoked all my forged components and put cast in.rod bolts hitting windage tray grinded parting line out on cast steel crank they put in disguised it.didn't put push rods and springs that we're supposed to go on it just slapped the heads on.Bolts were loose on oil pan.took my receipts over .they won't stand good for what they did.can't believe they are still in business for swapping and stealing parts.I'm not only 1 t... read more
Don't waste your time or money. I went there to get quotes for machine shop work for an engine rebuild I am doing, and one of the employees talked down to me, alleging that I (who he never met before) was incapable of rebuilding an engine! It should go without saying that he was not the sharpest tool in the shed (typical hoosier). When I finally talked with someone who had half a brain (can a hoosier even have that much of a brain?), the price quote he gave was far higher than the quotes from other machine shops in Illinois.... read more
