I messaged this dealer at 9:00 AM to confirm they had a 2021 Toyota Tacoma on the lot and ask if I could come test drive it. They confirmed the truck was on hand and I let them know it would come by around 4:30 that afternoon. A drove 90 minutes to get there and when I arrived they spent almost 30 minutes looking for the keys. They let me know they were unable to find the keys and wouldn’t be able to show me the vehicle. This is a very poorly run and organized dealership in my opinion.
This dealership charged me $400 on a Saturday afternoon before closing to hold a car while I could come back the next Monday to have the car examined by a body shop. The body shop recommended to not purchase the vehicle because of damage to the car. They were dishonest in not sharing that the car had safety and functional issues. They said the car had minor damage on the passenger front which was not true. Recently my husband and I purchased a beautiful Lexus from Auto Select in Orem Utah. We needed a reliable SUV for winter conditions but were hesitant until we came across Auto Select. The dealership is a family owned business that actually operates with integrity, grit and honesty. I just bought my truck from Auto Select and had a great experience. The staff was upfront, helpful, and made the whole process quick and easy. No pressure, just honest answers and good service. I’m very happy with my truck and would definitely recommend Auto Select to anyone looking for a vehicle.
Update on Lexus - August 2025 Repair # 3 the Power Steering fluid leeks and part of the system needs to be replaced. May 2025 Repair # 2 We bought a used Lexus RX350 for our son.
