Had a couple of bad experiences here with my car and then the wife's. Coincidence or a theme? This was 3 or 4 years ago, (it is now Sept 2016). Update Feb 2026: Workshop has replied today out of the blue asking for info about my review. More info regarding my review: I was called by the workshop after dropping car in for a service. I was told I needed new tires. (I knew that I didn't because I check over my cars before I get them serviced.) Very rude and disrespectful to my 19yo daughter a number of times getting her first pink slip. Tried to charge her $200 to replace windscreen wipers on her 2016 Hyundai. Don’t go here. Noticed a lot of comments from other women with similar experiences.
Chauvinistic mechanics- so sick of this! Disrespectful and scoffing at women, ignoring my daughter showing up for her first ever inspection. Lying about bookings, making her wait despite an inspection. DO NOT GO HERE!
Dan and Nigel service and fix both my cars for past 8+ years. Honest reliable and good priced. I feel safe driving because I know they take pride in their work.
Avoid this place, they scam their customers as a lot of the other reviews have said. We brought our car in for a pink slip and were told that we needed 4x new tyres in order to pass. They looked over the car for around 5 minutes and still charged over $50, and had poor customer service. We then took the car down the road to John Crawford in Manly Vale and they told us all of the tyres were completely fine and easily had another year left on them, and gave us a pink slip that same day.
