Last week my dad was traveling north on the Jersey Turnpike when a large piece of truck tire struck and shattered his windshield. His insurance company said no guarantee they could have the approved vendor fix the windshield until 5 days later and they'd have to tow his vehicle to the vendor 20 miles away before it could be fixed.
