Ok, so this is not located in Livonia, it's in Westland and they're not taking appointments. Grand Rapids is next location. Need to fix Google to reflect right location and hours.
La Fontaine wanted over $1,000 to fix a rear view mirror that came off saying the whole windshield had to be replaced. American Glass reattached the mirror for $50.00 with a lifetime guarantee. And they were so easy and friendly to work with.
Filed a claim through State Farm to have my windshield replaced and selected this shop to do the repair. The technician re-scheduled or did not show/call for 5 consecutive appointments.
I would not recommend this company. I made an appointment on a Saturday to have rear glass replaced on Tuesday. I agreed to pay cash. I get the call Tuesday saying if I don't have a heated garage they can't do the repair. They also recommended another company. We rescheduled for Thursday when it was warmer. When the installer arrived he said the job was too hard and would take too long. I guess that means not enough profit.
