Unprofessional and Unbelievable I went to ABE Auto Battery and Electric as a referral from a co-worker. All of the fixes they did on my Toyota had to be redone by another mechanic. The wires were soldered in on a starter and the other mechanic and others who saw the work called it "homemade". I had problems from the time I went there as the wires broke and were barely touching. Shockingly poor work I took my generator and starter for a 1951 Hudson to them several years ago when I was restoring it. I finally finished restoring the car in 2012 and started driving it. I kept having trouble with the charging system and finally decided to take the generator apart. I couldn't believe what I saw! The bushing in the commutator end hadn't been touched when ABE worked on it and it was severely worn.
