Your typical high pressure car dealer that deserves negate stars. We ended up getting a VW that I tried to walk away from several times, mainly because of price and the fact it needed tires for safe driving. It also had been in accident and needed repair on rear quarter. When we went to get tires it was discovered it needed complete brake job also. Had an absolutely amazing experience with auto America. They were so patient and did everything they could to get me into a vehicle. And I walked away with an amazing car. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know who is in need of a vehicle.
Theresa went above and beyond for us. She is absolutely amazing, so thankful our path crossed, and she helped us get in a new vehicle. Lots of problems with Dennis. The Sales Manager. first with the negative equity and then with warrenty work. called about a truck with 100k on it. Called twice to make sure before we drove out there Then drove 4 hours and it had 160k. They shrugged it off. Lights on the dash which i was guaranteed they would be taken care of. "they werent" had to pay all out of pocket. And they didnt even know why we were there. Charged extra 2500 dollars for a warrenty that doesn't even cover tighten gas cap light. On 3/25 I purchased what Auto America called a Silver Certified vehicle. But within days I find this auto is full of issues including items that should have been done to meet this “certification” including the oil- not changed, filers - not changed, the front rotors bad but covered up, rear differential housing seal leaking. I have called 4 different times and was told “your salesman will call you” well that didn’t happen so I ended up going in asking for answers to what was done for this Certification. This was the worse car buying experience of my life. We purchased a 2006 Ford F150. We test drove it and it seemed fine. We purchased it and on the way back to school less than a hour later the truck quit twice on my son...who had just traded off his beloved 2001 Camaro Z28 6 speed with only 80k miles.
