THIS MAN IS A CHEAT! I bought a Jeep that had the Service Engine Soon light pop on the instant I got the vehicle up to speed on I-26. As I had purchased the extended warranty through my bank, I followed their instructions to have the repair completed. The warranty company ended up not covering the intake manifold replacement, even though the documents I had clearly stated that this was covered, so I cancelled the extended warranty. 3 months later, serious issues arose with the Jeep, where it would only function properly when it was in 4WD, which it would automatically shift into after driving for a few seconds. Loud pops and cracks were heard until that shift happened. I knew things were bad, so I contacted the dealer, leaving voicemails that were never returned. I saved up the cash (single mom, working two jobs) to get it to the mechanic, knowing that the repair was not going to be cheap. My mechanic was blown away that I could even get it to function...the frame had been cracked for some time, according to him, resulting in the rear differential hanging on by a thread, a transmission that was destroyed, and more. $10,000 repair, only to THEN have 14 more computer codes to clear. My mechanic managed to get the dealer on the phone, who told me to come by and he would see what he could do. I drove over, showed him the documents, and told him all about the problems I've been having. He tells me that a "cheap repair can be to disconnect the 4WD assembly..it will run just fine then." Umm, right now it ONLY runs in 4WD, and he would just not hear that this was the case. I tried to discuss any recourse with him, but was told that I was being "ridiculous." I've created this account solely to write this review, to try to help others avoid the same expensive heartache I've endured at their hands.
