TO RUSH AUTISM STAFF: SOME AUTISTIC PEOPLE UNDERSTAND TONE OF VOICE AND WE KNOW YOURE BEING DISRESPECTFUL. -and a warning to LGBTQ+. As a late diagnosed adult autistic female, I have been in deep a deep burnout with skill regression. I have tried other psychs with no success in regaining function or ability to regulate. You can’t even get an appointment or talk to anyone for a first time appointment as a new patient. You have to leave a message but no one ever returns your call. Imagine having to do this every time you have to call the clinic. We’ll just pass and go to Lurie’s

We had our initial interview over a month ago. The intake person was supposed to send me an email in MyChart so I could send records. No email and I’ve called two times to follow up. The last time we lived in the area, she was a patient. You’d think we would get more courtesy as a returning patient. It was a three month wait to see a psychiatrist, and I don’t know if we are even on the list.

My daughter is quite unpleased with society but whenever she visits our phyc team here she is more than ecstatic. Im very appreciative of those whom we've had helped us overcome many milestones. Would recommend
