We purchased our home from Authentic in 2021. To be fair, our home was about 95% complete when we made an offer, and this was during a historic freeze. Authentic did accommodate a couple of upgrades for us, allowing us to pay for faux wood flooring in the primary bedroom and an extension to the back patio, which we appreciated. We bought an authentic home in 2019. Unbeknownst to us the shower pan was leaking. Fast forward to 2025 and we have to have our entire master bathroom ripped out because we have toxic black mold. We called authentic to see if maybe they would help us and stand behind their work. Robyn told my wife absolutely not we are on our own since we’re outside of our 1 year warranty. We purchased a new Authentic Custom Home and couldn’t be happier! Our home was already built. We did request a couple changes and they were met with positivity and helpfulness. Everyone we have come in contact with at Authenic Custom Homes has been a pleasure to work with! And I mean everyone!!! The details that my home has from the beautiful tiling to the gorgeous lighting and hardware, make it even more special. We very much appreciate the care and thought that has gone into it making it our now much loved home.
Outside of a lack of basic communication and customer service they are not an ethical company. We spent a total of thirteen (13) months dealing with them. We had 3 different contact/community representatives and 2 different superintendents throughout this process. July of 2020, we reached out to inquire on a lot/pricing – we receive a base price.
