Terrible terrible terrible Fraught with mismanagement and adding to our inability to reconcile our mothers account since they took over My care in Nov last year This organisation should be heavily audited for the way they manage aged care accounts. I am unable to make informed financial decisions without all the facts on hand. I wish there was a 0 I could rate them. My mother is lucky she has me to help her manager her services. I pity elderly who had no one and are left to the devices of this inept company.
Shocking service since they have taken over from sapphire home care. Communication is possibly the worst I’ve ever come across in aged care. Last minute roster changes, no consistency when my usual care person is rostered on to a new recipient in my very village. Why does the new person take priority over me? Are my needs less deserving. It’s left me bereft and unable to cope with the lack of care and compassion. The treatment is less than acceptable.
Please anyone thinking of putting a loved one with these guys, PLEASE (DONT...) unfortunately my mums provider was taken over by Australian unity home care and its been nothing but a nightmare since... There priorities isnt for the clients or there staff its for them to get as much out of there money as they can... They don't even do cab charge cards they dont want to give you independents they want you to rely on them to take you places.. but yet they never have the staff.. They are never on time, they send people out after... read more
Use this service for my dad before and after it was taken over. Constant staffing and scheduling issues with little to no advanced notifications. The staff doing the caring are pleasant, but sheesh....
Australian Unity has taken over My home care. It has been such a mess that they have not paid there private service providers since the beginning of November 2025. They have provided very little information regarding what is happening and have not replied to emails asking what is going on. We have just found out the it will be 7 to 10 days before we will actually be paid. Very disappointing considering Christmas is only a few weeks away
