I had a really disappointing experience at the Bulimba clinic. I had booked my usual laser hair removal appointment (which normally takes over an hour), and only received a call one hour before my appointment to say they needed to reschedule because the nurse had gone home sick in the morning. When I asked for a refund instead, they were hesitant and I was told they could still fit me in that day and complete my 1 hour appointment in just 15 minutes by adjusting the machine settings. Its my first time to this skin clinic and after the consultation and doing some treatments to my arms I can see the result after.
My appointment was scheduled for 11:30 AM, and I arrived on time. However, I was left waiting for 20 minutes without any notification or explanation. After that, when I was finally taken into the treatment room—where I waited another 5 minutes fully prepared for the session—I was then informed that the laser technician was not properly trained and therefore unable to perform my treatment. I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but after visiting several skin clinics across QLD, I have to say the Bulimba team has been the best by far. I couldn’t recommend them more—especially Carly, whose kindness, expertise, and honest advice about laser treatments are truly reassuring and make you leave the clinic happy and satisfied !
