The people running these apartments don't even make any sense. Very hard to get on touch with. Would not recommend renting from them. Idiots!
Bad Experience. Make sure you inspect apartment before signing lease. Place smelled like Smoke and took 3 weeks to get to the point to where it is tolerable. Still is not fixed and they basically said it is the best they can do.......really? Carpet was not cleaned before I moved in. Always a ton of drain flys. Do not leave any food items out or you will have more. Place is noisy. I can hear everything that goes on in the apartment above. Air Conditioner kicks on and sounds like a jet engine. Easily the nicest apartment complex in Gaffney, SC. It was tough finding a nice, clean, well maintained apartment complex for my temporary stay in Gaffney, but once I found Stonecrest Apartments, I knew this was the place for me. It is a beautiful apartment complex. But it is not ran under the Fairness laws. They discriminate against people by their familial status,they don't allow pd. sec deposits to be picked up after 48 hrs and they give nothing for a reason why in writing to substantiate the reasoning for their actions. The management does not want the children to be seen or heard. They have a movie theater that kids are not allowed to be in. Kids have to be escorted by a parent from their home to their friends home and escorted back. This apartment complex is not kid friendly. They refuse to put in a playground for the children. I would rather take my family to North Korea than continue to live here.
Parking is terrible. My average walk from my car to my apartment alcove is usually no less than 80-100 feet. Two incidents of vehicle break-ins since I moved in here 6 months ago. Assigned parking is seldom inforced by the Resident manager, unless it's her space that is taken. Water run-off from the building roof is causing the front steps to rot and fall apart, and despite many calls to the office, the rotten boards haven't been replaced yet. Parking lot is poorly lit at night. Other than that, its great.
