We left after 15 minutes when the waitress came back to confirm our order. She hadn't written it down. The place allows smoking and it stunk really bad.

Hangout for drunks and alkies. Food is not edible and the whole place stinks. Wish the county/city would clean this place out. The drivers come out of there - and if they live north - take Market Place Blvd. to avoid DUI's. It's a shame a nasty place like this exists within the city limits. Does not look good for the city, sitting right across the street from a family restaurant.

We tried Longhorns first, the place was packed with people waiting outside, Its Valentine’s Day. Decide to try Austins, we hadn’t been there in 3 or 4 years. Parking lot had a few cars in it. If it wasn’t for the OPEN sign being on I would have thought they were closed. The place is old and worn but not bad looking. As we went through the first set of doors the odor hit, mold. I've only eaten at Austins once and was terribly disappointed. The quality of food did not match the high prices. We ordered a fish dish and specifically asked if it was fresh and assured it was. It was so old tasting that it wasn't edible. Have not been back since.

This is a "best kept secret" kind of place. Steve the owner always makes sure everyone is pleased with their meals and Angle (the Cook) does the best steaks... ALWAYS gets them the right temp. Much better then the "chains"...
