Had a very unfortunate experience here today. My husband was fishing in the area and I needed to use the restroom. We saw a porta -potty near the boat dock and he dropped me off. A manager type man jumped in his truck and sped over to us. He proceeded to verbally yell and chastise us in a threatening manner. We apologized as we did not see a private property sign. Come to sail and race on Lake Travis.
Been sailing here since 1980 - one of my most favorite homes away from home. It’s a family and the best on the water and off the water club in Austin! Beautiful Lake Travis is a jewel and I have hundreds of friends there. If you truly want to enjoy Lake Travis then you should join AYC because the members of AYC offers the best window to what this lake is all about!
AYC is a great club and I love how they support Sea Scouts!
This club is so friendly...they just want more sailors to join them as much as possible. They remind me of boy scouts x10 that are just crazy about sailing. Super great club..
