Absolutely amazing pediatrician, he’s very thorough, thoughtful, responsive, and goes the extra mile in finding resources for our child. He helped us navigate a tough situation and timely referred us to the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. My husband and I can’t say enough good things about him, you can tell he truly cares.

Dr. Whitaker is the absolute best. His nurse always calls us back quickly when we have questions or our child gets sick. We are always able to be seen same-day, and never have to wait long. He never makes you feel rushed, always answers and asks questions. The nicest. Truly lucky to have him!
We are so thankful for Dr. Whitaker! As new parents, finding a pediatrician we fully trust with our son has meant everything, and Dr. Whitaker has exceeded every expectation. He is incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable, positive, and never makes us feel rushed or dismissed. He takes the time to answer every question thoroughly and genuinely cares about his patients. You can tell he and his team truly love what they do!
Excellent pediatrician; however, unfortunately the front desk staff are extremely disappointing. They are not particularly friendly, but more concerning is the lack of communication. Phones rarely seem to be answered, and despite leaving multiple voicemails, I have never once received a return call. If your child only requires annual wellness visits, this office may work fine for you. I would strongly recommend booking your next appointment in person before leaving the office.
