I had Austin Spas & Pools come out to replace a broken pump in my hot tub. After waiting weeks to hear back someone finally showed up and replaced the pump... at a rate of over $175+ per hour. They installed a cheap pump and did not properly seal the surrounding pipes after replacing the pump. When I called to let them know about the issue they refused to repair it unless I paid another $175 (minimum) for a new service and claimed it was not a result of their work - even though it is directly above the pump they replaced and... read more
Rob was trying to quote me for a new chip and estimated $1000. After checking I saw it was a fuse blown like I suspected and even told them when they came out. Awful service. Also, never answers the phone and had to repeatedly ask them when they were coming for the service call.
Grrr... I rarely write an unhappy review but I feel the need to warn people. Initially Frank was very helpful and helped me locate the fuse in my hot tub to see if that was the issue. It happened to not be the issue. He sent out his tech who spent less than 10 minutes "diagnosing" that I had a faulty gfci breaker so that was the end of their service. They told me which part to buy- which was the incorrect part. It caused the hot tub to be off for an additional two weeks as we waited for the incorrect part. Luckily, a friend ... read more
I didn't want to wait 6-8 months for a new hot tub and Frank sold me a very nice used unit. He checked it over prior to delivery to make sure everything was working OK. Harold then delivered it to me and gave me lots of useful information on how to keep the water treated and general maintenance. I'm very happy with my experience and now have a hot tub for winter! Thanks guys!
Two weeks ago the delivery team was putting the finishing touches on final set up for my new spa. Model 735L. Frank and Lisa were excellent in the purchase process. No pressure and just happy to share any and all details. I looked at several dealers around town and settled with Austin Spas. I knew when looking that I wanted a certain jet configuration.
