The portion of grouper on the sandwich was extremely small and was completely hidden once the top bun was placed on the sandwich. When I brought this to the waitress's attention, she did not appear concerned and did not offer an apology regarding the portion size. Instead, she simply stated, "Let me see what I can do." A manager then came to the table and explained that the grouper portion was only 4 ounces. Our waitress was unbelievable. Food was good. Stopped for lunch
Overall experience was underwhelming, especially at this price point. It satisfied the ich for chargrilled oysters and seared tuna and I would probably go back if the craving hit again. Manage your expectations and prepare for that Market Price sticker shock.
I’ve been getting oysters from Austin’s for the past three years, Ms. Lakia and Teresea have always provided me with great service and authentic energy! Yes, I come for the food, but I also hope that I see them specifically!! And I love when they keep me updated with the holiday specials. Thank you ladies!
