Dr Amanda Rowe refused to see me because I was 3 min late. She told the front desk she would rather go home early. Also ARC please don't leave me a "apology".
I don't get sick often and came here kind of clueless on the whole process to get a check up since I was feeling under the weather, I even accidentally scheduled the appointment for the wrong day, but when I came in the front desk ladies helped walk me through everything I needed to do and even fit me in on the same day. Came in later and got my check up and tests done and everyone was so kind. Ms. Rowe did a great job of telling us what to do after the test results came in. Thank you!
My experience at ARC highlights everything broken about the U.S. healthcare system. You pay an outrageous amount and get almost nothing in return. After waiting two months just to be seen, I spent over $400 on a physical with Amanda Rowe that lasted maybe 10 minutes. The entire process felt rushed and impersonal, like I was just another number they needed to move in and out. Dr. Yacoub has been my primary care physician since 2015. When he moved from the Farwest location to the new Westlake location I followed him over despite living much closer to the Farwest location. He has always provided excellent care and as a bonus I prefer the Westlake location.
