No one informed me that my 5 minute consultation would cost $330, it felt shady to not disclose that until checking out. They also weren’t willing to apply that to the cost of surgery, so that was a waste of money unfortunately. They charge more than other local surgeons. Had they agreed to apply the consult fee to the surgery I would have gone with them but the most they offered was $80 if I paid the amount in full with cash.

I had my followup visit during which Dr. Knell installed the post that will be the foundation for the crown my regular dentist will install in 3 months. Both my tooth extraction and the post install steps in my dental implant went smoothly. The staff and oral surgeon (Craig Knell DDS MD) at Austin Oral Surgery were univormly professional and forthcoming with information and prepared me for every step. Dr. Ding and his staff a re amazing. I always chose IV anesthesia for tooth extractions. You just go to sleep and when you wake up it's all over with. Much easier than struggling with the local. No pain, no trauma.

I am a General Dentist and have been referring patients to Dr. Ding and Dr. Knell for years. Not too long ago they helped our 17 year old with his wisdom teeth extractions. The in-office experience was very smooth. They sent us home with all necessary items for a post-op speedy recovery. They are very well trained Oral Surgeons and make it a point to make you feel how much they care about you. We had an excellent experience with Dr. Ding, who removed my son’s wisdom teeth. I found out about him by checking my neighborhood’s FB page for oral surgeon recommendations & they did not disappoint. Dr. Ding & his office staff were friendly, professional, informative, & efficient in a comfortable atmosphere.
