This place is real quick to pull the wool over your eyes— just a forewarning. At first I fell for their gimmicks coming from Laurel Ridge’s PHP, but boy was I wrong. The facility itself is nice & clean, the best you will find. The material is nice, somewhat structured, but repetitive. I was there for six weeks in PHP, never made it to IOP. I had just gotten out of a three month in-patient hospital stay in Dallas. Excellent treatment center with highly qualified therapists. Everyone, from the front desk staff to Dr. Floca, showed genuine care on a personal level. This place saved me in different ways. 10/10 would recommend.
I’ve never had a more positive experience in a mental health institution. The doctor was amazing and was able to get me the only meds that have ever worked for me. The therapists fostered a really healthy environment. I learned how to keep up with coping skills that have previously just been thrown at me. I discharged last year and i’m still doing better. I attribute a lot of my mental wellbeing to my time here.
