I was very impressed overall with my first appointment. Dr Peterson's staff was pleasant and thorough. He was kind, listened to and answered all of my questions. He also made eye contact with me when we spoke. He carefully examined my MRI results and images and made a recommendation for my care to help relieve my pain. Everyone I had an interaction with was a pleasure! From checking in to scheduling surgery, I was treated like I was the only patient in the office. They are so kind, informative, patient, and let you ask the same questions over again until you understand. Dr. Peterson is absolutely amazing. Dr. Peterson called me five minutes after my MRI was done and we were out of the OR then the following day and I was able to actually stand without pain as expectations show that good physicians are still available. We just have to search harder to find them. I don’t think he was technically proficient, but it is demeanor and professionalism were again exceptional, and awesome. Dr. Peterson came highly recommended to me by a friend for my L5-S1 herniated disc after a previous surgery did not hold up within a couple weeks of surgery. From my first appointment through post-op follow-ups, both Dr. Peterson and Dr. Prather were great & knowledgeable on my options & care. I ended up doing the (ACD) Barricaid to minimize risk of re-herniation & to maintain disc height.
