Dr. Lehr and his staff were professional, courteous, and made me very comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Lehr was down to earth and took the time to explain my options and exactly what to expect before and after the operation. His technique resulted in very little pain and recovery was faster and easier than I had anticipated. I would definitely recommend him.
Dr Lend is a skilled surgeon and compassionate man. He's done almost 3,000 gallbladder removal surgeries. He prayed with me before the surgery because even though I really wanted my gallbladder removed, I was scared. It's the first major surgery I have had. 5 months on, and my abdomen is healing nicely and my pain is gone. I find myself wishing that I could find someone just like him in other specialty areas of medicine. Thank you, Dr Lehr.
Was told I was going to die by a Hospitalist at a rural hospital. At my request, I was transferred to Research hospital where Dr. Lehr removed my gallbladder. Prior to surgery he explained the procedure and put me at ease, assuring me he and staff would take good care of me. Dr. Lehr is a skilled surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. I could not have asked for a better outcome!

Actually first time I saw him I his office, but he does put you totally at ease. He actually takes an interest in what you have to say. I am not a doctor person, so that is not easy to do!
Had emergency surgery, he was very thoughtful, and explained things well
Dr. Lehr is very personable and took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to me. He even drew diagrams one more than one occasion so that his explanations were more clear. Before surgery, he took the time to pray for a successful result. As a Christian, I was truly impressed.
