While our NYC design gallery was referred to Austin in years past as the best furniture restorer in Florida, and had the pleasure of working with him on a couple of small projects in the past, this year at Design Miami was the first time we've worked with him in person. We had a 100 year old sofa with wooden feet that needed cosmetic help. Austin showed up at the booth within minutes, and addressed the problem with both care and efficiency. Austin is an excellent restorer. For many years, Austin has restored dozens if not hundreds of precious and valuable items from historic to contemporary works for my clients and at times for myself. He is honest, fair and reasonably priced. I rarely recommend people but Austin is a gem and takes pride in doing a superior job. As far as ability and follow through, I know I can trust Austin completely. If he can't do something, he will say so.
