After visiting Dr Willeford III at Austin Gastro for over ten years, I realize now that his service and his personal staff were unparalleled in professionalism, expertise and quality of care. I hope he is enjoying his retirement and reads this to know just how much his former patients miss him!

As some reviews mention on other websites, he's dismissive and would just give you a pad in the back. I have also heard from other patients that quiet often he labels patients with anxiety being the cause of their gastro issues. He missed several diagnosis on me eventhough he performed several colonoscopies and endoscopies on me for several years. I love Dr Willeford and his staff. Always efficient and kind. I once showed up on the wrong day (after full prep) and he accommodated me anyway!) he’s great about talking to me after the procedure (I’ve had at least 6 in the past 30 years) Highly recommend.
