Each vet stays 100% current on new treatments and techniques, and sometimes old techniques are halted when new studies show a new perspective. They discuss cases together so we get the benefit of 4+ vet’s knowledge applied to our horses’ issues. Friendly, professional, caring!
I cannot say enough good about Drs. Joyce, Dobbs, Marley and Carlton and their staff. They took care of our beloved Piper after a horrible injury and went above and beyond to provide the best surgical and post surgical care. They were a huge comfort to me and my family--always being available to answer questions or comfort us as things became difficult. The facility is beautiful, clean and welcoming as well. We truly appreciate all of the rock stars at Austin Equine!

I cannot recommend Austin Equine Hospital enough! They have been there is some scary times with my mare and through the excitement of breeding her twice. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and kind and always happy to see my horses. Ladybug, Waffle, “hopeful-baby-number-two-on-the-way”, and I are so grateful!

Dr Carvallo and the entire team at Austin Equine are truly amazing. They have saved 2 of my horses in the past few weeks. When it rains, it pours. Every procedure was explained to me so nicely and pricing was never a surprise. They run a great business with top of the line facilities, vets, techs, and everything you’d want in an equine hospital. Every question I’ve had for Dr Carvallo was answered quickly and explained thoroughly. I’m so lucky to have her as a vet for my sweet horses.
My sister takes her horses to this site and I’ve gone with her. They’re knowledgeable and kind.

The team at Austin Equine are amazing professionals. This week they took care or our precious little mare with the mystery colic, and they previously saved the life of our beloved Rocco. I don't have enough words to describe how grateful we are that they are here where we live.
