Dr. Zapalac and specifically his medical assistant Sean (unsure spelling) have been amazing pre and post tonsillectomy. I was nervous but they have been reassuring and answered all of my many questions. Thank you!
I originally brought my daughter to Austin ENT Associates after 1 failed myringoplasty and two failed tympanoplasty's that were supposed to correct a hole left in her ear drum from an ear tube. My daughter did not like having her ears looked at, and many specialists we had seen had horrible bed side manners. A friend of ours suggested Dr. Scholl, and he was a perfect fit for a sensitive child. He has since retired and we see Dr. Zapalac, who is also very patient and puts his patients at ease.
