The charges were significantly higher than expected, and the billing department did not seem responsive or helpful when we raised concerns. This experience has led us to leave ADC and look for another provider.
My daughter has been a patient at ADC Leander for 8 years. Recently she had a sick visit where a DNA probe panel for flu, COVID, and strep was ordered without giving me an option to choose a less costly rapid test. The total bill came to $760 I understand medical costs have risen, but a 52% increase in the office visit fee alone since 2023, combined with ordering expensive tests just for a sick visit and then dismissing a long-term patient's concerns, is not the standard of care I expected from ADC. Have to wait for the dr to come to the room for 30 min now from the appointment time and still waiting, the nurse comes with some tests before even the doctor could come and check the kid. This is ridiculous 😒 🙄. Hope the management looks into the quality of service because we are paying our hard earned money and we deserve something better.
Dr. Carothers is great but staff does not code preventive care services properly and you get a surprise bill abt 9 months later.
