My daughter has actually graduated speech here at just 4.5 years old! I searched high and low to find a place that doesn't feel corporate with many new therapists and this place is exactly that. Holly has built such a warm and trusting relationship with us and brings so much deep expertise to her work. I am SO grateful to have found her at Austin Area Speech. My son saw Susanne for about 2 years to help with his speech development after he stopped sucking his thumb. Honestly, cannot say enough good things about her. She made sure that we had the info we needed to work with him at home, and worked with his teacher so that he could get additional support in his classroom. Our 5 year old daughter needed help with articulation and worked with Susanne at Austin Area Speech over the past several months and we could not be more grateful. Susanne’s experience and gentle approach / time honed techniques enabled our daughter to improve her articulation rapidly (and have fun while she was working on it). It made a huge difference both for her own self esteem as well as in her interactions with peers and adults. We loved working with Susanne and highly recommend her and Austin Area Speech & Language!!

It was very hard to understand my preschool-age son, and it was causing a lot of frustration for him. Our pediatrician recommended speech therapy, and I’m so glad we contacted Susanne. She is warm, caring and really connects and engages with her kids. We actually miss our weekly sessions with her. Each session would usually consist of playing games/activities while working on the words and sounds, followed by some weekly practice to do at home.
