Would not trust Scott and his team Warranty means nothing and has an excuse for everything. If you need any repairs or rebuilds go elsewhere.

Note: would give less of a rating but am unable to. A am more than upset at the $1200+ dollar amount I was charged to receive a simple quote on a stock standard 1.8 BP engine, it supposable crack "tested" (I did not ask for this just a quick eyeball) while it was at there shop. How ever I fail to see how this was done as all parts still had engine oil and carbon build up on the expected places. Scott and his crew go above and beyond. Good old fashioned service, highly experienced and can rely on them for honest work. Highly recommend Auster Engine Centre.

I gave them my engine already out of the car on a palette, they said they would crack test it in 2-4 weeks. Those 2-4 weeks turned into 7 months before they even touched it. Then took them another 4 months to do the rebuild. “Reconditioned” it with a can of black spray paint and charged me almost double for what the original quote was. Rear main is leaking oil and manifold wasn’t put on properly.
