The excuse from the Aurora Hospice nurse for not giving my dying mother pain medicine was that, "scientific studies have shown dying from dehydration isn't painful, but actually brings about euphoria". Upon further examination of the doctors orders, it was written to give her morphine for discomfort. My humble deplorable observation of what I thought looked like 'discomfort' for my mother was really just her enjoying the 'euphoria'... One of the OT home healthcare nurses, Lindy, carelessly pulled into our driveway, and proceeded to run over my 17 year old small dog. We have yet to hear anything back. Very frustrating and disappointed in them, and their services as a whole. They want nothing but money.
Not a professional feel. Front desk service isn't the nicest and the "respiratory therapists" are more sales people showing you the products than explaining or helping. Called ahead to make sure they had 2 specific masks for me to try and when I got there they said they don't have them on hand. Multiple times I've had bad experiences here.
Friendly knowledgeable staff who have no problem answering my stupid questions.
