Aurora Counselling is a team of wonderful professionals led by Dr. Joyce Weinberg. I cannot recommend Aurora Counselling enough. The therapy is customized, effective and it is always provided in a space of safety and respect. Not responsive and very unorganized.
Nothing like not receiving a response from a psychologist to help you with depression! (Sent an email in November, writing this in March). It takes a lot of effort to reach out during low points and she should know how discouraging that can be.
Most unorganized person I have ever met. Voicemail box has been full for months, so you can't leave a message to book an appointment (if you don't believe me, call & try and leave a message, i will guarantee no one answers the phone). She doesn't have a receptionist to book appointments. If you are looking for someone dependable I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. My best friend was suffering from depression and she asked me to accompany her to the clinic. My first impression of her was of a calm listener with great understanding. As the condition of my friend improved, I learnt that she is highly efficient.
